Anja Nissen is 13 years old and has been singing since the age of 6. With a very big and mature voice she was told, already at the age of 8, that 'you look small and white, but you sound big and black'. Anja loves to sing, especially the big power ballads.
She always manages to find a connection between the voice and the lyric that is unique.
Despite her young age, Anja has has an eventful career so far including Australian Junior Idol, Australia's Got Talent, singing for Princess Mary of Denmark and Russell Crowe, singing our National Anthem as an invited guest in Kuala Lumpur and for 45000 people at the V8 Super Car Grand Final at Oran Park Raceway.
Anja has won many competitions such as Music and Arts Talent Search Under 13 vocalist twice and Burwood's Got Talent as a duet with her sister Pia. Anja has played 'Annie' in Annie and 'Cinderella' in 'Into The Woods' in her high school's production. She is frequently asked to perform as a guest artist at various venues.
