GLAMOUR SHOOTS
The subjects who appear on this site include some professional models,
but most of the girls shown here are ordinary people - not to say that professional
models are not. These girls are students, waitresses, shop assistants, bank
or council workers, actors, dancers. They're not all 5' 9" or taller.
Most of them probably don't stop traffic when they walk down the street. But
they are people who are beautiful and who respond really well to being photographed.
You see them here without benefit of a make-up artist. They haven't been 'made
over'. This is who they are. Dabbling in photographic modelling is one of
the many things they do. They deserve to be photographed and seen.
Subjects on this site have been photographed in external locations - by a
beach, a river, in a cave, on a cliff . . . Some of these locations have been
suggested by the subject; others by me. I try to blend the person with the
environment or to contrast one against the other.
My aim - with glamour photography or portraiture - is to capture the naturalness
of the subject. Subjects generally look to their own make-up. Our aim is not to do a ‘make-over’ but
to create images that are true to you.
There is no double price hit with a Wild Places shoot. The cost of the shoot
includes a high resolution CD of the images and selected enlargements.
